My prom is on friday, im going with one of my friends, he's letting me dye his hair to match my dress, which i havent started making yet. The fabric i have is really beautiful, the fibirs one way are blue and the other metalic emerald so it changes color in this light. I made a design with smiple construction.... hopefully.... so it should only take me an hour or two to make...

to gretchen: that's great that you're making your own dress. it's so original and sounds gorgeous! good luck on that!

i just bought a red, sparkly, strapless, floor-length dress with lacing that shows through the back. and it's really pretty and not too heavy. my prom is in june and i'm hoping to shed a couple of pounds before then. would black shoes go good with red or should i go with silver? and which is ur personal preference, hair up or hair down?
